Jūrmala is a long, narrow city that stretches for more than 30 km along the sea — from Lielupe to Ķemeri. So the time and price of a move in Jūrmala depend not only on the volume of belongings but also on which parts of the city the two addresses are in. Here we move apartments in Kauguri and Dubulti as well as private houses and summer homes in Majori, Dzintari and Bulduri. The trip from Riga to Jūrmala: distance, time and price
The drive from Riga to Majori takes about 30 minutes; to Ķemeri it takes longer. Vehicles entering Jūrmala pay an entry fee — we agree on this with you before moving day.
In summer Jūrmala is busy with holidaymakers and traffic is heavier, so we plan moves for the early morning. Outside the season the work goes faster and it is easier to find a free slot.

What we take into account when moving in Jūrmala
Jūrmala has many historic wooden houses with narrow staircases and sandy yards. At these addresses we protect floors and door frames, and carry furniture by hand where dollies cannot roll over sand.
Kauguri and Sloka have more apartment buildings, including five-story blocks without elevators. For these addresses we allow more time and take large furniture apart in advance.
In Majori and Dzintari parking is limited in the summer season and there are many pedestrians, so we check access in advance and plan the move for the morning.
In Jūrmala we also often move summer house contents — garden furniture, grills, bicycles and seasonal items. If you have nowhere to keep them over the winter, we offer storage in our facility and delivery back in spring.
Larger private houses in Jūrmala often contain heavy and valuable items — pianos, solid wood furniture, artworks. We move these with extra protection, straps and, if needed, additional movers. We agree on such items in advance so there are no surprises on moving day.
